Clinical Supervision for LGPCs in Maryland
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Board Approved Supervisor in Maryland, I provide individual clinical supervision to Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors (LGPCs) in Maryland who are seeking grounded, structured, and depth-oriented support as they develop their clinical identity and skills.
I may be a good fit if you are working with complex trauma (C-PTSD), attachment injuries, relational difficulties, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, and clients navigating longstanding patterns shaped by early relational experiences. I also support clinicians working with couples and individuals experiencing significant relational distress, dissociation, and trauma-related adaptations.
My supervision approach is rooted in trauma-informed and attachment-focused care, with an emphasis on nervous system awareness, relational safety, and clinical attunement. I value helping supervisees develop strong case conceptualization skills, deepen their clinical presence, and understand symptoms through a trauma and attachment lens.
What You Can Expect in Supervision
In supervision, I support the integration of experiential and trauma-focused modalities, including EMDR (including Attachment-Focused EMDR), ego state therapy, and other parts-based approaches. I also provide guidance for clinicians incorporating animal-assisted psychotherapy and somatic or relational interventions into their work.
A central focus of supervision is helping clinicians build confidence working with complex trauma presentations, including dissociation, attachment disruption, and deeply rooted survival strategies. We also attend to the realities of clinical work, including countertransference, vicarious trauma, burnout prevention, and maintaining ethical, sustainable boundaries in emotionally intensive practice.
Supervision is a collaborative space where we explore clinical challenges, strengthen therapeutic identity, and support your growth into a reflective, effective, and grounded trauma therapist. I also assist supervisees in clarifying professional goals and building the skills and support systems needed for long-term clinical development and independent licensure.
